Terms of sale
These terms govern the sale of goods from ruuted.co ("we", "us", "Ruuted") to you, the consumer. They are written under the laws of England and Wales and do not affect your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
1. About us
Ruuted Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales. Our contact email is hello@ruuted.co.
2. The contract
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example, an item is out of stock or was mispriced) we will contact you and refund any payment in full.
3. Price and payment
- All prices are in GBP and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate.
- Delivery is charged separately at checkout unless a free-shipping threshold applies.
- Payment is taken at the point of order via the payment providers listed at checkout (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna, Clearpay).
4. Quality of goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the timing and nature of the defect — see our Returns & refunds policy.
5. Cancellation right (14 days)
You have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To exercise the right, notify us in writing at hello@ruuted.co. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods. Items must be unworn and unwashed, with hygiene seals intact where fitted.
Hygiene exception: for hygiene reasons, socks that have been worn or that have had their hygiene seal removed cannot be returned unless faulty.
6. Age of buyer
You must be 18 or over to place an order. By checking out you confirm you are.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for the goods.
8. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first — most issues resolve quickly. If we can't reach agreement, you can access the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform, or refer the matter to a UK ADR provider or the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to your order is the version in force at the date you place it.
